For refining and grinding, used to homogenize high-viscosity pastes, paints, pigments, varnishes, cosmetics, and soaps.

The machine uses three horizontal, precision-adjustable rollers that rotate in opposite directions and at different speeds. These rollers crush and disperse the agglomerates through high shear, resulting in ultrafine particles, better gloss, uniform texture, and stability.

This is a classic machine in the pasta finishing sector, functionally very similar to laminators:

- Feeder Roller: Receives the material from the hopper and transfers it to the central roller.

- Central Roller: Transports the pasta to the discharge roller.

- Discharge Roller (Whistling Roller): Works at maximum speed and collects the finely refined pasta.

- Knife System: A scraper blade removes the refined product from the final roller, directing it to the collection chute.

The refining process critically depends on the millimeter-precise adjustment of the space between the rollers. To guarantee the quality of the final product and avoid premature wear of the equipment, the distance needs to be calibrated with a blade gauge (thickness gauge).
