The beer fermentation process consists of two phases: fermentation and maturation. Fermentation is the stage of high yeast metabolic activity, during which almost all fermentable extract is converted into alcohol and carbon dioxide.
The second stage, maturation, is also known as secondary fermentation. This stage aims to: clarify the beer, saturate the... This equipment, known as Unitank, processes both stages of beer carbonation in a single tank, enhancing the flavor and aroma of the beverage.
